Dearest Carey:A very special birthday wish to you, my dear little soul sister. It's hard to believe that you have finally made it to the big 50. Now you are really catching up with me. Welcome to the joys of the autumn of your life. Luckily, I've always loved autumn and I'm hoping for that long Indian summer to go alone with our stay in this dimension. There are, indeed, many wonderful things about this "time in our life". The most important thing is that we have lived long enough to know these "truisms":
~ This, too, shall pass.
~ Life is a mystery so don't take it seriously.
~ Attitude is everything.
~ The point of power is in the present.
~ Keep dancing, singing, laughing and loving and everything else will fall into place!
How long has it been since we first danced together and became such good friends? From the very beginning of our friendship, we seemed to have so much in common and understood, on a deep level, how the other one thought and felt. Even though we certainly have shared some "funtastic" times ~ from Santa Fe to New Orleans, to San Francisco, it just seems to have always been understood that we were deeply connected in some way. It's nice to know that our friendship has endured the space between physical localities and time spent together. I hope you know how very proud I am of you for all that you have accomplished. You have done "girl Power" proud!!! I support you in your path, I have your back and love you dearly. And remember to always dance on the sunny side of life.
